Terms of Use

What using Ridevenice means

By browsing ridevenice.com you accept that the blog is a set of personal, informal guides about cycling, city travel and equipment, and that you will read them on the basis set out below. Questions about these terms can go to [email protected].

General information, not safety or professional advice

Articles on Ridevenice are general information and opinion. Cycling carries real risks, and traffic, road surfaces, weather, local laws and your own fitness and skill all differ from what an article may assume. Nothing here is a guarantee that a route is safe, open or legal for bikes, or that a helmet, light or lock will protect you or your bike. Check current local rules, follow the maker’s instructions and use your own judgement before riding, fitting parts or carrying a bike on public transport.

Who owns the content

The writing, layout and original images on Ridevenice belong to the operator or are used with permission. You may read the pages, quote a short passage with a clear mention of the blog and share links. Copying full guides, republishing them or selling them requires written consent.

Using the blog properly

Do not attempt to break into the blog, flood it with automated requests, plant malicious code or use it to send spam. Using it to break the law, for example to organise riding that ignores traffic rules, is not allowed. The operator can cut off a visitor whose activity puts the blog or other readers at risk.

What you send us

When you email a correction, route tip or topic idea, you confirm you are entitled to share it. You allow us to read it and use the idea to improve Ridevenice, without any duty to reply or publish.

Ads, affiliate links and bike-related sites

Ridevenice may show advertising and may include affiliate links to shops, rental services or makers of bikes and accessories, which can earn the operator a commission at no extra cost to you. Such links do not alter what the articles say. Sites you reach this way, including retailers, transit operators and mapping services, are outside our control, and their prices, stock, availability and statements are their own responsibility. Before relying on a rental fee, ferry rule or product spec found there, confirm it with the provider.

No warranties, limited liability

Ridevenice is provided as it is and as available. As far as the law permits, the operator does not promise that content is accurate, complete or uninterrupted, and is not liable for injury, loss or damage arising from use of the blog or reliance on its guides. If you buy a helmet or lock from a shop after reading a review here, the protections you have as a buyer under mandatory law remain yours, and no wording on this page reduces them.

Changes and severability

These terms and the blog may be revised at any time, and the version posted here is the one in force. If a court strikes out a single rule in this text, the rest still governs how you use the blog.
